Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the small screen. De La Garza's parents were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26 in 1976. Within a short time, she moved to Texas to pursue her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas before moving into Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles such as local independent films and global commercials. Even with the minor parts, she realized that she was a performer with a passion. She then moved to New York in 2001 and she got her first role as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. In the beginning of 2000, she played minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role in her first series part in The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. In the following seasons, she was a part of her role in the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. The character she played brought De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she received an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition for her outstanding Performances for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then chosen as a recurring character on CSI Miami. The role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. After just two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian origin and is the younger sister of Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Milano was born into the strictest and most religious family. Milano started her acting career aged seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her in an audition. The four selected girls among over a thousand potential candidates were Milano. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and in the American premier of Jane Eyre.
